The Old Post Office Museum is closed for repairs to the roof,
undertaken by the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council,
to protect this historic assett. 
We hope to reopen early September. In the meantime, if you

Membership

The Mornington & District Historical Society Inc was formed in April 1964. The Society maintains The Old Post Office Museum located at the corner of Main Street & The Esplanade, Mornington. Membership includes four copies of the Mornington Historical Society Inc. Newsletter per year including information about meetings and activities.

  3. Visit and Research at our Museum upon request.

  4. Twice yearly bus trip to historic places

  5. Chance to share your history and learn from the general public on Sunday open days at the Museum.
